What is the Mollymawk Assessment?
Mollymawk is an Australian-based aviation assessment system. In Turkey, many airlines, notably Pegasus Airlines, use Mollymawk in cadet pilot recruitments and lateral entry interviews. A typical Mollymawk assessment consists of three sections:
- Psychometric test, numerical reasoning, mechanical comprehension, multi-tasking, reaction time, and spatial awareness. Typical duration 60–90 minutes.
- Simulator Profile, a 45–60 minute flight profile in a fixed-base trainer or generic A320/B737 sim. ILS approach, raw-data flying, holding pattern, normal/abnormal call-outs.
- Structured Interview, a 30–60 minute verbal assessment involving an airline captain + HR + (sometimes) a psychologist panel. CRM, situation management, personality fit.
