easyJet Pilot Assessment Preparation

easyJet operates one of Europe's largest low-cost networks with an A320 fleet. Selection includes online aptitude and personality tests, an assessment centre and a simulator assessment.

How does the easyJet pilot selection process work?

easyJet (United Kingdom) typically applies a three-stage assessment for cadet and direct entry pilot recruitment. The structure below can vary by airline policy and changes over time, so confirm the current steps on the airline's official recruitment pages. AviaCoach prepares you for all three components in a single module:

  1. Psychometric test: numerical reasoning, spatial awareness, multi-tasking, reaction time and mechanical comprehension. Typical duration is 60 to 90 minutes.
  2. Simulator profile: raw-data flying, ILS approach, holding and normal and abnormal call-outs in a generic A320 or B737 trainer.
  3. Structured interview: CRM, situation management and personality fit assessed by a panel of a captain and HR (and sometimes a psychologist).
